Material Planning LEADER

Missions :

Management of Material Planning pillar
Be responsible for Material Planning pillar’s performance and KPIs
Secure delivery plans/purchase orders sent on time
Lead APSYS for Material Planning pillar
Support Material Planning pillar on GSI transactions correct usage
Set adaptation plan for new Material Planners
Train and support new Material Planners according to the adaptation plan
Prioritize Material Planner on tasks
Internal suppliers: manage purchase requisitions until Material Planning documents (call-off (purchase orders), schedule agreement (delivery plans)) creation
External suppliers: follow up with Procurement the purchase requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents (call-off (purchase orders), schedule agreement (delivery plans))
Analyze, ensure and update the accuracy of master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints)
Management of MP team in terms of analyze Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects, put confirmed dates in GSI and put comments in Fiori
Ariba implementation follow up
Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
Organize and maintain regular reviews by Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances
Analyze and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand)
Value of MRP exception messages to be reviewed and reduced
Raw Material Coverage – secure and ensure optimal coverage in value (euros) and weeks according Region targets
Follow up non-conformities appeared WH acceptance with Material Planning Support
Follow-up of Goods Receipts issues with the applied means of communication (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, quantity mismatch, invoices, etc.)
Communicate OTIF results and share with intern management on monthly basis and improve it with MP team
Analyze root cause and define action plan of missing parts
Trace missing parts till it’s accepted by Warehouse and Incoming inspection, fill missing part tracker with all necessary information on time
Anticipate shortages
Indicate needed deadlines to other Departments as to secure Material Planning targets, and alert if target not achieved
Follow-up of payment invoices on time by delivery plans or purchase orders with MP team, Buyer, WH, Finance
Follow-up with MP team to Secure all correct and full package of shipment documents receipt
Perform any other business assignments from Material Planning Manager
Be responsible for Material Planning pillar approval of vacations and cover any absence of Material Planner
Analyze and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External)
Collaborate with Material Planning Management/SDPM to validate worst Suppliers and define appropriate action plan
Contribute (when involved) to Supplier Capacity Assessment
Contribute (when involved) to Supplier's Light Capability Assessment (LSCA)
Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plan

Educational requirements:

Master degree or Industrial Engineering diploma in Supply Chain

Experience

A strong experience with ERPs, Supply chain concepts, continuous improvement processes is mandatory.
English proficiency
Experience in working in a Supplier/Customer relationship management (daily activity and good performance achievement)
Logical and sense of prioritization (urgent vs important)
Teamwork and collaboration with other functions
Resilience, time management and role model
ERP experience (articles configuration, orders management) and/or ERP architecture understanding (BOM, NCR) and/or ability to use ERP
At least 3 years experience in Material Planning team
