Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.
Tasks and Responsibilities
•Approve components PPAP in case of New component, Component change, deviation requests….
•Coach new suppliers on how to work within TE guidelines (portal access, TECHS, TE procedures, etc.).
•Request, collect and store all components documentation.
•Open quality complaint with suppliers in case of Nonconformities & followup with supplier to comply with TE quality requirements
•Highlight, identify and lead the action plan linked to all risks in Wearhouse impacting raw material conformity.
•Setup the process of MSA ( measurement system analysis)
•Manage documentation of calibration & MSA records
•setup the calibration & MSA planning and assure its execution
•Support technical department in defining adequate measuring equipment
•Ensure the internal verification and recordings archives
•Assure control instructions of all measuring equipments
•Maintain and develop the Quality Management system according to ISO 9001 & IATF standard
•Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations;
What your background should look like:
Master or engineering degree in mechatronics, mechanics , electrical
Experience in Automotive or industrial
Internships experience in metrology field is highly recommended
Knowledge of molding , stamping process
•Knowledge of MSA 4th edition manual, ISO 17025, ISO 9001 & IATF
•experienced with different measuring and test equipments domains: dimensional, electrical, optical, torque, hygrometry, temperature, weight….
•MSA : R & R studies
•Quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, QRQC…)
•Capable to interpret technical drawings
•Capable to write measurement reports
