Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Tooling Teams perform the manufacturing functions related to metal working dies and tool making. They are responsible for completing all assignments to construct, modify and condition metal working dies and may fabricate new gages, cutting or forming tools and fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications. They perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions; recommend revisions in design and/or substitutions in material based on machinability or fabrication problems encountered; and solve problems relating to unusual materials, machine settings, fabrication methods, and production process. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1.Appliquer les règles de sécurité avec une réaction immédiate en cas de situation dangereuse détectée
2.Exécution de la maintenance corrective, et élaboration des comptes rendus.
3.Exécution de la maintenance préventive, et élaboration des comptes rendus.
4.Participation dans la défi nition des pièces de rechange en assurant la déclaration de leur utilisation (une participationactive dans la gestion des PDR).
5.Apporter le support technique et de formation à l’équipe de production et à toute autre entité au cas de besoin.
6.Participation active dans le processus de l’amélioration continue (TEOA).
7.Participation à l’amélioration de la documentation et de la procédure de maintenance, les gammes de la maintenancepréventive.
8.Exécution des plans d’action visant l’amélioration de la disponibilité des équipements et des outils de travail.
9.Assurer le respect des standards 5S+1 dans les ateliers de la maintenance et le parc de production, et aussi assurer unebonne préservation des moyens et outils de travail mise à leurs dispositions.
What your background should look like:
3 to 5 years of experience in Toolmaker mold maintenance
Completion of High School required
Automotive manufacturing experience would be an asset
Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs required
Experience in machine shop techniques would be an asset
Solid understanding of the injection molding process required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel required
Proficient reading design drawings and blue prints
Basic knowledge of Laser welding be an asset
Ability to work flexible work hours, including unscheduled overtime when necessary required
