Job Summary
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across multiple HR functions. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance while developing foundational HR skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (documentation, orientation coordination, system updates)
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in preparing HR reports, presentations, and documentation
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and internal communications
- Help ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and properly documented
- Respond to basic employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and calendar management
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of HR principles and employment practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HRIS experience is a plus
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
